were taken from somewhere on Pinecone Lodge's five acres.

The Pinecone Lodge bear greets you.

A driveway completely circles the house.

Although the natural gas furnace keeps the
house quite toasty, use this
firewood in the wood-burning stove for that Rocky Mountain atmosphere.

Do you want to
roast hot dogs, sing camp songs, and burn marshmallows?
The Pinecone Lodge fire pit is the perfect location.
The fire pit
comes complete with its own supply of firewood.

A shady lane loops through the rear of
Pinecone Lodge.
Yes, it's quite drivable, although we don't know why you wouldn't want
to walk through the woods; and no, you don't need four wheel drive.

From this bench on the south side of the
house,
you get a stunning view of Pikes Peak.

From this bench on the north side of the
house,
you get a stunning view of the Tarryall mountain range.

A four-foot high fence completely
surrounds all five acres.
We placed logs at the bottom of the fence to
help prevent dogs from slipping under the fence.

Walk through the rear gate and
you are on Pike National Forest.
